Major John Sandringham is ex-Special Forces, now working as a valet to Lord Hudson and RJ. He enjoys his work when called upon to act as a bodyguard and secret agent. Dashingly handsome, tall and with dark features, Major Sandringham is a man who enjoys fast cars, fast women and hard drinking. A charming sophisticate, he is well-travelled and at home in high society, especially in the company of beautiful women. The Commando Years

For twenty years, Sandringham served in the Special Boat Service, where he rose to the rank of major. A decorated war veteran, official records confirm that Sandringham saw action in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Northern Ireland.

Valet and Bodyguard

When his father perished in the same plane crash that killed RJ’s parents, Sandringham retired from the Special Forces and followed in his father’s footsteps, becoming a valet and bodyguard in the employment of the Hudson family. Serving in this capacity to the present day. Major Sandringham relishes his position as Lord Hudson’s go-to choice of operative on the most difficult of missions. It is here where he can return to the halcyon days of working in the field on the deadliest and most dangerous of tasks.

Unique Skillset

When RJ returned home, the major gladly accepted another role. That of bodyguard and even mentor to the young man. He is tasked with keeping Master RJ Hudson safe on their regular adventures around the world, although it is sometimes unclear as to who is protecting whom. While Major Sandringham stops Master RJ from taking a bullet, the young man is equally responsible for keeping the commando from an over-indulgence in ladies and alcohol.
